Fixer, if you need any help, PM me. If you are in Haverford I am less than 5 miles away in Villanova. Unfortunately I don't have the same skills you have, so I probably could only be an extra set of hands or a beer delivery man.

Jason, i didn't notice you were in Villanova. Thanks for the offer, and i am sure with what you've done to your 928 you'd be a lot of help.
I can help you with things as well.
I am OK, but PM me your # and lets go driving soon!!
Busy!? Certainly not compared to you. Anyhow, will post some pics, first in the butt thread and mind you it will be disgusting! (What's under an S3 spoiler?) Will get some others up, too, when I can. Not nearly as fun as yours though.

Post the pics Martin, you're very knowledgeable I don't care about how things look, you're doing something yourself and that is admirable.
The raw metal is beautiful!
I wonder how the skeletal pod would look installed.
We have to figure out what will look best, opinions greatly appreciated regarding this. It is a nice looking piece of lightweight aluminum, as i mentioned it weighs only 1lb, 4oz when stripped of all that foam. Around the instrument area will have to be finished (I have material for that) otherwise all of the switch wiring will be seen. I had planned on using loctite spray adhesive (found works best) to apply the thin navy blue leather to the pod but not sure now if that is way to go..

Well, my larger digital scale broke (small has a 5 lb max) but more than 10 lbs total btwn the dash and pod Shawn. It was a large bucket packed tight and another 1/4 bucket full of material. I enjoyed getting rid of it.
