I removed the discussion about the 928 Motorsports engine as I don't see how it's related to Mike Simard's for sale thread or any of his projects.

I fail to understand the connection between Mike Simard's stroker engine and anything from 928 Motorsports.
If someone could please enlighten me, I'm all ears.
If not, trying to associate the two together is beyond absurd.

In general I disapprove of censorship.

However, in this case

That's because its not a yard. Its more of a grotto. And the milkshake is clearly half full.

Ah well, I knew I should have put a lower BIN price on that eBay kidney.

Well, I guess it's time for me to step out from the shadows... I've been very quiet for quite a while and well... I've been busy. I've got two cars that don't work and I'm tired of it. That's all I'm saying for now.

Greg and Rog', I haven't been offended or said anything to anyone.
I can see Hacker's point and feel that he's a top notch moderator at things like this by seeing the big picture and how non-regulars could have seen the POS side discussion as related.

If you google random automotive pics, it's common to get ones completely unrelated because of forum threads that stray and people start posting pics of their Chevy motors when the thread was about Dusenburgs. I think Hacker understands that and didn't want something bad to be associated in future searches.
I presume he was gentle and loving with his communication to you?

BTW, after that unrelated POS was posted, I clicked on the eb link and for the next few days that item would show up on the sidebar whenever I was on eb. I was worried that my wife would see it and think I was considering it
That's definitely one of those things that should have it's own thread and never be seen anywhere else.

Can we get back on the real topic, why Hacker posted a picture of a milkshake?

Mike, Kudos on your stroker motor and what looks like a very good job.

Now imagine you don't see that engine for 3 years, then the owner over-heats it, then people on the forums start referring to it as a POS. Not right.

There is another side to that story far different than what is posted on eBay, and I can assure you the engine was/is not a POS. It is a near-twin to the one in my race car, which has 20 racing hours on it, 3 seasons, and still put down 910 HP just a month ago before we went to Bonneville.

Find some 928 engine that has made more HP longer than this one, and I'll stand down.

So lighten up on the POS comments please. Consider that there might be other issues at work.

You put it in it's own thread, right? So that discussion could continue?
