Much good karma is likely to come your way. Glad Andre's car is finally sold and helping his widow out. You sound like an enthusiast and that is good too. Welcome....

several of your issues sound like they are related to a vac leak. Running rich may be bypassing the air sensor, poor HVAC control, and dead cruise. Seems like the vacuum might be a central point and we know that vacuum lines fail quite a bit.

Fuel hoses must be investigated asap. Do not put it off unless you like carbeque.

5 speed Transmission with LSD and TT from an 88', S4 brakes, Aero Mirrors, GTS Spoiler, 3-point backseats seatbelts, and those shiny wheels.

Fuel hoses seem to have already been taken care of, they definitely look new.
I think vacuum leak or leaks may very well be the issue because the idle is also unstable.

That's a beautiful 928 Neil!

Thanks for all of the feedback guys! I'll definitely be asking lots of questions in the months to come!
