James, in general, a great job! The way you did the boost readout hidden in the ashtry is really CLASS! :-)

Thanks guys... I am seriously considering the smoke/clear side makers and turn signal lenses... Open to suggestions and photoshop renditions for those so inclined! So stoked about this car. SOOOO FAST! OMG! Just crazy...

I actually like the car with the stock lenses. It looks like a factory GTS painted in a one-off color. That color, by the way, is spectacular!

The blue is unreal. Makes the beast look so fresh and new. The 928 is a timeless shape. Showed my wife. Now the pressures on. Thanks mate!

No matter what, I'd make the tail lights solid red (Testor's paint.)

I would love to ride in that thing. BTW James. Keep me posted on the White S4. Did you figure out the running issue that the engine detailer caused?

Bruce, I like the smoked look...NICE! You might be right on the full red tail lights too... Dang, and I thought I was pretty well done fixing this thing up! LOL!

Have not messed with the '89 yet. Gonna call my shop as soon as things slow down for me a bit (new job training and such) and see when they want me to send it to them. SOON I hope. Will get that bad boy up and running well and it will be a great deal for someone!

Remember a wrap is easy to do on a black car and still have the car look "right" after its done. That said, this color is within spitting distance of Arrow Blue, an early 928 factory color and slightly more vibrant than Maritime Blue a late 928 factory color! I'm not aware of any 928's factory built in Maritime blue though.

James - nice

I have no idea how you keep up with 12 cars - I have one and it keeps me fully occupied...

Okay James... try this on for size:

You already have wrapped the body, why not 'wrap' the lenses? Use clear side marker lenses & wrap them with perforated blue vinyl and make them 'disappear'... until lit up!

You can do the same with the quarter windows and hatch glass (like the advertising wraps) using the perforated vinyl & make it appear truly custom. And, you can see out but others can't see in.

Make a photoshop of that!

Barry, interesting that you mention this... The guys that did my wrap did that exact thing with one of their cars! It was actually the flat (normal) version of the green we used on Green Mamba! (That wrap is normally a matte finish, so we laminated a clear gloss layer on top of it to get what I was looking for!)
