I'm jealous- It must have been a Porsche-fest there. Tons of Porsches were auctioned off over the weekend at various auction houses in Monterey. I wanted to go but couldn't. I did go to Barrett-Jackson the previous weekend and saw only one- a 911. Because of Hot August Nights it was a hot-rod/muscle car fest. Still fun though.
Nice pics and car!

Hi Mark,
Welcome to my little part of the world. Thanks for supporting the local economy! I just passed a Bugatti Veyron Supersport around lunchtime today.. Kind of interesting in orange and black. The week was full of cool stuff as usual. I even saw a 928S4 with turbo twist wheels at the Baja Cantina with an SC on it. It might have been the guy who bought Bill Ball's kit, but I'm not sure..
Anyway, this 911 gets my vote for the best 911of the week, and possibly the prettiest one I've seen in the flesh. It was at Laguna Seca... I've heard the stories and seen pictures, but in person it is truly art..
I know this is the sharktank, but I thought I'd share..
