Rixter,

We have never met and live in the same state. I had a massive heart attack in Feb this year, and it does change your perspective and outlook. I wish you nothing but the best and if I can assit you in anyway please let me know.

So here is a question you might be able to assist with. Option code 417 rear speaker box. Was there many built? I am going to take pictures and start a new thread on this subject.

Have a blessed day.

Harvey,
There were quite a number built. IIRC this was pretty well discussed in a thread back in late '05? I may be wrong, the memory ain't what it used to be.

Rixter: Some of your symptoms sound like Amyloidosis. My brother-in-law suffered from this, a rare blood disease. It has many devious forms which make it hard to diagnose and his doctors missed it; his started with cough, pain in upper back, can't keep food down, nor assimilate formula, results in severe swings in BP and other blood and fluid issues, loss of weight. Blood proteins from the marrow malfunction on the gene level. City of Hope in LA got him on right track. It is related to Multiple Myloma, and other blood cancers. I hope you do not have this and you are on road to recovery.

Rixter,

I know you're a tough guy, and I wish all the best for you. Keep at it until you figure out what's going on.

It's very kind of you to offer up your color sample books to the 928 Registry project. I would be willing to scan them and provide the data to the project. Bring them up to the 928 Frenzy yourself, if you're able, or send them up with someone else if you can't make it in person this year.

Regards,
Greg

Happy to see one of my earliest helps on this list back! Will be an NC resident myself soon.

As a fellow migraine sufferer, I sympathize. Never got as bad as you're having it but 2 hospitalizations in 2 weeks in my early 20's made me change a lot of what I did.

Hope they find something that works!

Happy Birthday-here's to relief!

WB!
