Off the road until I put the front bumper cover back on. A little cool for comfortable work, but should be back together in a couple of hours work, possibly Fri AM.

Unless the typical weather media hyperbole is totally hyperbolic, perhaps it might be best if no 928's are out driving in the Atlanta area for the next day or two, studded tires or not.... When is this supposed icemageddon moving in?

Hey Rob,
No s#*@. This sucks and can't really stay in the garage as it's not heated. Little space heaters don't work to heat the entire garage. Hunkered up and making homemade chicken soup.

UGH! this weather!

Not really that cold, just at freezing, so ICE will be the issue. Mine probably can't get up the hill in front of my house anyway.
Subaru Baja is the backup if we need to go anywhere, which is doubtful.

I'm in Rich! If anyone from the Peachtree, Newnan area wants to go lets get together for the nice drive up to Alpharetta. It would be cool to get a good showing of 928's there!

GREAT! Some other 928's are coming! I'll try to be there early to reserve space where the Porsche's usually are.

We park with the other Porsche's, they gather on a back row on the right side when you come in the lot. Hope to see you there

Sounds like a great time. I should be there. Went to C&O but had to park far away since I arrived after 9am. Anyhow I'm looking forward to this get together. Keep me posted and thanks.

Keep your expectations low - this is the first of we what hope will be many 928 related get-togethers.

BYOG - bring your own gloves...

You will find Rich at the grill and me dismantling the S4 or GT.

Future tech sessions will be:

Clutch r&r. Upgrading to GTS shift fork, replacing pilot bearing and throw out bearing.

TT swap. Transplanting the TT from the GT (Constantine's bearings) to my S4.

A/C troubleshooting, flushing and upfixing - I need to replace the dryer on the S4.

You can make you own suggestions and even offer up your car for the session.

Default 93 928gts

I noticed you sold your 93 gts. I just purchased one and drove it from Houston to chattanooga last week. Love the car but concerned about oil consumption. Not used to car using oil as being normal. How was your gts on oil when you had her. Thanks larry
