Thanks for that updated route Brian. That looks like it should be a great drive.
I'm really looking forward to it, and I sure hope the weather holds out for us.
It could have the makings for an absolutely gorgeous day...
Is anyone else taking their rev limiter along for this..?
For now, I'm just curious, as I think mine has other stuff going on that day.
But I know she'll perk up when she hears "Autumn Drive" & "North Georgia".

Six well sorted 928s bombing along all in a row.
It looked like a squadran of fighter jets flying in formation.
And a crisp, clear, sunny autumn day in North Georgia.
I had the driver's window down literally the entire day.
Enjoyed the sights, sounds, breeze, even the smells.
What a great way to spend a Saturday...
It was a bit conjested getting out of the North Atlanta suburbs.
I happened to be running last, looking to keep everyone together.
(had to scurry through a few "orange" lights, but no problems).
But once we got through Dawsonville, it instantly became a drive.
70 mph on smooth two lane roads winding through the rolling hills.
And of course, steeper, twistier, and tighter continuing Northward.
A very special thank you to Larry and Joanne for hosting us.
What an absolutely awesome home on the top of a mountain.
A wonderful cookout lunch, amongst truly incredible views.
And a nice little scenic driving tour of western Chattanooga.

Hi. My name is Chas Roscow. I just relocated from Silver Spring, MD to Alpharetta GA. I was active in PCA Potomac
I have never driven a 928. I may get one some day. I am looking for someone who will meet me and exchange test drives. I can drive your 928 and you can have your pick of one of my 993s (C2 or C4) or a 550 Spyder (well, that would be if it is warm enough).
I went to Caffeine & Octane in Nov. Very cold that day.
