Default Holy hantavirus! Post pics of rat's nests, fungus, mold, and other 928 discoveries

It seems that it's not unusual to find odd things living or growing in our 928's, especially if they've been sitting awhile.

Found this beauty in the cowl area of my OB track car:

So I've heard many of the horror stories of things found growing or living in our sharks, thought it might be a good time to start a thread on the subject (don't recall one being started yet),

So, what have you found in your 928?

This was in May so I doubt he was saving up for winter (Texas cough) just a mouse that wanted a nice dark home. I was glad there was no rodent damage.

Just did the intake on a GT on Monday/Tuesday and all the vacuum lines and knock sensor wires were chewed up. One knock sensor had only the ends left. These bastards can do some damage. Again, lucky it wasn't the main harness.

If rodents have their own version of Town and Country or Architectural Digest, the 928 air cleaner must have been on the cover. I went to look at a car last summer that the seller was sure had not had any rodent problems because he put mesh bags with mothballs in the engine compartment. I opened the air cleaner before taking a test drive and guess what I found - mouse nest.
