Chuck ... misworded my earlier post #42 re the brackets .... should read as below, altered to reflect there two on each side as per Robs pic. Clearer to add post here than edit original.

1. Yes . there are angle brackets on both left and right sides, at the very bottom and top of the quarter panel stays, as in Robs pic.

Thx Dave!
I looked last night. I actually have the angle bracket on the bottom in left well.
The one half way up is missing.
So looks like I'll need it, one speed clip, and 3 new push in clips (inboard)
to complete install.

Appreciate everyone's feedback!

Pic of what I pulled out the other day.
(Pass Side)

The Driver side was much worse. Will post another pic when I install.
(New one on the left btw)

To add some further clarity to the small angle brackets, longer stays and speed nuts.

PET 802-05 is a little misleading on quantities needed.

Small 90 bracket 928 505 523 00 PET #37 shows Qty 1. There are actually 4 in total one at the end of each of the two longer stay brackets #36

Longer Stay Bracket #36 - 928 505 522 02 shows Qty 1 Right side only where as it is the same bracket right and left.

Speed Nut - B 5.5 #39 - 999 591 487 02 is NLA. We do have an alternative aftermarket part.

Is there something we can spray on them to help them last longer? I dropped $1,200 on a pair last year and was thinking some Griot’s vinyl/rubber treatment might help. Any recommendations?

I purchased some black Plasti-Dip spray for that very purpose. Rubberized coating that flows very well. Have test painted a few objects and it seems like a good option. I think it will provide a good protective layer that is flexible just like the substrate. Eastwood carries something similar called Elasti-dip.

Cheers!

In the process of doing left (driver side) liner now.

Used speed clips plus 2 stock "bolts" to hold psd inspection door in place. Everything else lined up good. 2 of the three inboard holes were slightly off (only by 1/2 inch) so I'll redrill and use fasteners I found at AutoZone. Not sure if I want to mess with the "4th" hole that does not come on the new liner.

Happy with the "initial" quality of the liner, it's more of a flexible plastic. The entire liner that came out crumbled into bits and pieces. Again, I liken it to the consistency of "majic shell" dessert topping...

Hopefully these will last 20 or so years, by then it will probably be my son's problem...

Sean,
Im good.
The new liner came w one.

The new inspection cover is zip tied to the new liner just so it doesn't get lost. I just slipped two speed clips and small fasteners to it to make it functional. From the factory if you left it there and just clipped the zip tie the first time you check your PSD it will fall back in that area and you'll have to end up pulling the liner out to get to it.

Should have taken picks, but I was trying to hustle and get it done yesterday.

Who is going to be able to do a meaningful check of the PSD fluid through that keyhole? Pretty sure that any time I'm going to be looking at the PSD unit, it'll be while I'm flushing the fluid, and that ins't happening with the liner in place.

Got a pic of the proper speed clips and hardware for mounting the inspection cover? That part of my original liner was long gone by the time I bought my car.

Pics of fasteners inboard.
Found them at autozone. (Fit perfect)
One on left Is new, one on right is stock.
Fastener top is a little bigger which I think it's better.
Second is part# for it.
Sorry, taken off phone so they are not great pics.
