Walked in today when the last box of 5 were being opened for shipment. These were just delivered and were already spoken for. Was pretty cool to see what Porsche Classic is doing for our cars.

Can someone tell me what these are made of ? Could these be sprayed/encapsolated with line-X or other bedliner material and still fit properly? I think this would solve the detioration by sealing out the elements.

thanks

so that begs the question do these supply the same sound deadening quality as the originals? My 93 didnt have any when i bought it so i dont know how to judge. just trying to determine which ones to buy.... 3 things i want to accomplish

1. keep the elements out of the wheel wells and components
2. sound deadening
3. NEVER have to buy a set again

The one I got for my 91 GT had the sound deadening material on it and provides the same acoustical properties as the original.

They are plastic with closed cell foam type material adhered? to the back of the liner.

Another - and the last - batch of 8 showed today. Everyone who has asked for one is covered. Shipping should be complete early next week. Waiting for a batch of GTS right side to come in for those who ordered a matching pair.

When you say last batch, do mean forever? Also, sent youan email yesterday about my outstanding quote. Did you receive?

Hi Eric,
I have your email.
I do not think this is forever but it took over two years or more for these to arrive.
None left anywhere for now in Porsches' stock.

Default New Batch of Liners just arrived

I was at Frenzy 17 this past weekend and was informed by Roger that he has a new batch of the left rear side wheel well liners for the GTS from Porsche.
Anybody who did not get them in the last go around, call him before he runs out.

Default 19+ year old GTS left rear liner exchanged for new one.

As part of me yesterday flushing my PSD, a fresh new liner installed as well, thanks Roger!
As clearly can be seen: the old one was falling apart in many separate pieces (I put a lot of duck tape on it, so to be able to show the 3rd photo collection):

Are these units different from what Porsche currently carries? I phoned our local dealer last week, was quoted about $700Cdn, but no problems regards availability, and obviously no shipping. No insight from the dealer if their part number is NOS, or a newly manufactured redesign.

Regardless, I'll be needing one (or 2). Removed my old left liner with broom and dustpan.

Cheers, phendriks

My guess is that these - as I bought from Roger - are exactly the same from what Porsche carries, please see underneath for proof of the attached Porsche part number sticker which very clearly shows the production date of 24th July 2013.
So: very unlikely that there is any NOS available anywhere on this planet, however as only facts count in the end: ask for the production date on the sticker before buying. NOS would be from way before 2013 (and I would not buy any NOS for this particular part...).

Question- are these the mythical 999 025 225 02 washers used to mount up GTS rear fender liners?
