Dual Flowmasters through factory quad tips will always sound great on my Pontiac, but this car has a mean growl.

Oh, he will hear something similar shortly. I've got an SLC - X waiting for me at the shop. Already have rmb, will be eliminating cats, and only glasspacks in the middle.

Right on! Mine sounds awesome with the large resonators on it. Not bonkers at cruise but EPIC at WOT.

Pressure line replaced, power steering leakage stopped...drove it again in the parking lot...awesome. Can't wait to drive it for real.

So, the previous owner, for reasons as of now unknown to me, swapped the transaxle from his '88 into this '87. In doing so, it appears that he forgot to unplug the impulse unit for the speedo on the diff cover, and this was the result:

I am going to solder the wires back and see if it works...does it matter if the green wire goes to pin 1 or pin 2 in this 4-pin connector?

I think it doesn't matter as the switch simply closes each time a magnet in the ring mounted on the LSD passes the switch. Then again Porsche did make the wire different colors. If you start seeing negative speeds you'll know. You already have experience with time travel
