Oil Leak since Porktention install **UPDATE**
Seems that since my install of the Porktetioner (sp) Ive developed an oil leak.
This photo is after I wiped off the item that says H3. The compressor was soaked.
Any ideas?
Thanks so much....Rick
Picked it up today in New Hampshire. The tech followed the suggested fix from Ken. After driving 130 miles home I'm sorry to say that its still leaking (very little) but still there........

Could be the crank seal?

I have the same problem. I cannot locate the leak. I am going to add uv dye to the oil and see where the leak is originating.

Why would the main seal start leaking after TB job if it hadn't been leaking before?
Before taking everything apart, look at the tensioner bolt area. Also check the base of the dipstick tube at the pan to see if it needs a new o-ring. The dipstick tube is another thing that gets removed during this job.

Clean the area up real well with brake cleaner and look at it after a drive or two. Not unusual for that one bolt to leak if there hasn't been any goo put on it.

I can't see how the oil from the crank seal will go up and over to the compresor. Most likely it's that one bolt. Not enough RTV on it. If the tentioner it self was leaking you probably would loose the tention on the timing belt by now.

I looked at my leak with some UV dye. Not trying to hijack but I have the same issue. I have put RTV on the bolt and installed per instructions. It is leaking at the bottom of the Porkensioner bracket where it is parallel and flush with the block. The part right under the end of the tensioner unit, at least that's where they dye shows the leak.
Do I need to take the tensioner off and replace a gasket or what?
Perhaps Ken can weigh in here? No other leaks
