Default 928 Koenig

Hello,

Can you talk to me about a 928 Koenig, I am looking at getting a clean one that I found which is based on a 928 S4.

I believe it only a body kit and the car is stock, how many 928 Koenigs were made?

I am a huge porsche fanatic and currently have a 911 Turbo 3.6 and would like to acquire a 928 Koenig "80's nostalgia"

Koenig cars are rare in general. From what I have read online many Koenig cars were converted to such many years after their production date by their owners.

Because of this their is an uncertain number of "Koenig" cars. Also, at some point there was a fire that destroyed much if not all of the remaining 928 Koenig parts.

I hope this helps.

Why not a Volvo 240 Station Wagon? Superior in test.

I must admit that the Strosek looks are not really timeless and clearly date it to the eighties, but.... to choose the Volvo over over a Porsche...
Funny vid. Nice parody on so many car TV programs where they always choose the 'product placement' Hyundai from the sponsors...

It would be helpful if you could post some pictures of the car. Does the seller have a certificate of authenticity from Koenig ?

Well Volvo is not a bad car but my crazy wife owns this one, the red car. Very uncomfortable and not much room to stash my hash in back there.

No Simo, it is for my marine blue car. When Tuomo is getting his new hot rodded twin turbo engine running and putting out over 1000 whp, I may consider a similar twin turbo build for my wifes car.

My first impression of the first 928 I saw with aftermarket bodywork was...If you wanted a Camaro, why not just buy a Camaro?

A friend's son has a Volvo wagon that is turbocharged with a huge compressor. it HAD gobs of power right up until it cratered.

Not sure which Camaro my car looks like otherwise I would have bought that Camaro and saved a bundle on maintenance over the years. Cars are customized for personal taste. Some choose to do the inside, others choose the exterior while some go for engine or suspension upgrades. Now we have ITBs and 6 sp vette trannys. all personal choices friend.
