Default broken Casper, Solved...can you???

So I 100% figured out what was broken today..... Here are the symptoms:

I was full throttle at about 5000rpms in 4th gear going up a hill (T8-9 at Thunderhill)...all of a sudden I was hitting the rev limiter and nothing worked...car would go in gear, then as soon as clutch was released it was mad grind o matic..... No gears worked, nada, nothing...nothing forward or reverse....

Here is a picture of the broken part......can you spot it?

Hmm, hard to tell...

I see the release lever is not properly positioned on the release bearing, and the stub shaft is not centered in the guide tube, but other than that I can't really spot anything "broken"? The stub shaft or clamp would explain the no-drive symptom though.

Wait a sec.... is that a trick of the light, or is the stub shaft actually kaput?

Had an '80 in a couple years back that the coupler between the TT and the intermediate shaft was not put on correctly and it ruined the torque tube shaft. Was not a fun fix.
