One week to go bump!

Please note that the deadline is just past midnight EDT Thursday morning, so the deadline is, for all practical purposes, Wednesday night. FYI.

Also note that you can change the method (credit card, etc) by which you pay, on the Kickstarter site, right after making the pledge.

Tell any folks that you think may be interested in supporting this project - every bit helps!

Thanks to everyone for their support so far.

I really love these wheels, but they're a little over my budget right now.
Do you offer layaway? :-/

That's right!

Did I get you all squared away, Roger?

Would love to see you get on-board w/a wheelset for your GTS!

I wish I could help ya there. Good news is if all goes well with the project, wheelsets can be available on a regular basis (as pre-orders... which is kinda like layaway!)

Sorry Shawn. I knew the Amazon thing might throw people off, but it's the only option at this point. If the Kickstarter is successful, I can have extra rewards made available. However, lets first get this Kickstarter to the finish line!

Bump for today's 30 year anniversary of the Risky Business movie (August 5, 1983).

Joel (Tom Cruise), the "U-boat commander"; Rebecca De Mornay as the, uhm, working girl; Ray-Ban sunglasses; Bob Seger's Old Time Rock 'n Roll; and, of course, a 928 with the classic Phone Dials!

Funny that. A few weeks ago, for the first time in roughly fifteen years, I watched Risky Business.

In the first scene with the 928 the point of view of the camera is to the rear to capture the faces of the front-seat passengers. I noticed that the hatch is unlatched and bouncing up and down a little bit.

Hey gang, I'm not a cheerleader-type guy, but I truly believe in the entreprenural sytem. I can't afford these wheels but I can afford to throw $50 at it for someone who helps keep our 928's on the current side of coolness. It looks like he needs about $6,500.00 in pledges in the next 24 hours to pull this off. That's about 125 928/944/911 owners throwing $50-$100 at the future.........something we all do with parts and pieces for our money pits each month or (maybe) a 1/2 tank of gas. Have a heart, throw down and make this happen. There will be a great sense of pride helping someone who helps us and it would be a real shame if it failed. Please think about it for a minute and make a pledge.
