thanks Ducman, my parts arrived today. they look good and clean. I'm going to put them in tomorrow, hopefully they resolve my loss of power problem.

im taking that motor down to a long block to clean it up. doing a leak down test today. i might just use it.

How different is the GTS block? Can you bore the 5.0L block out to 5.4L?

the blocks all use 100mm bores from 1985-1995.
You could install a GTS crank, conn rods, and pistons and get a GTS block out of this. BUT the pistons have to be the right tolerance group.
