Hi all! I have a 90 s4, I wonder where is the cabin air filter located as **** has been starting to fly into my car thru the ac vents! Thanks

I'm not sure your model has a cabin air filter, I think it was introduced later. But you can clean the air duct before the evaporator. Open the hood, take off the plastic cowl, remove the rubber coupler between the blower motor and the air duct.

Filter was added to '94 MY. This doesn't include US early '94 cars which have M718 option code.

... and we've been told it can't be retrofitted.

It definitelly can be installed to any MY. Only question is how much $$$$ needs to be spend on changing parts around it.

Crap from the center flap can be the disentigrating foam around the air flap, remove the louvres to check.
