Default Rear lettering replaced

Finally got the rear lettering replaced, the "PORSCHE" lettering was gone and the "928S" tape was very ragged. Now replaced with three dimensional lettering and numbers. Looks much better, the color is a little lighter but works perfect with the red paint. Here is an after photo.

Very nice. What did you use on your rear spoiler to get it looking so good?

Looks great! I just did the raised letters on mine too. Makes quite a difference.

Yes.

Also, what have you done to your tail lenses?

snoz,

I use a product call Tire Wet, I spray on a damp cloth and then wipe down the rear spoiler with it. I then wipe down the spoiler with a dry lint free cloth to tone down the shine. It gives the spoiler a not quite flat black look. It takes maybe 10 minutes to do and 5 or 6 minutes is wait time between application and the final wipe down. The look will last through 2 or 3 car washes before it needs to be redone.

Depami,

The lenses were cover with a tinted film to give the smoked look. With the lenses lit the color looks very true to the stock amber or red, the backup light is somewhat dimmer than stock however. If I were to do it again I would smooth the stock lenses before applying the film. Up close you can see where the various molded in markings are as little imperfections. At 8 to 10 feet away the imperfections are almost invisible.

What makes them "raised" letters?

The letters are 3d rather than a flat decal and when installed they are raised up over the edges of the porsche indent on the rear clip.
