Hi,

Can someone confirm if this is the correct Bosch/Porsche P/N for the TEMP II sensor for my model 928,

928 606 126 00

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Further to post above. I pulled the sensor and can confirm this is a Bosch 0 280 130 032. I measured (cold) the resistance across the 2 pins and measured approx. 6000 ohms. According to the specs at around 20C/68F the nominal resistance should be approx. 2500 ohms. So I am guessing it is ime to replace.

I am curious to understand the how the TEMP 2 is used with the LH and engine management software. From what I have seen on this site it appears to be very relevant and a reference point for for the LH when the car is cold. Guessing that it also affects fuel delivery, cold start injector, etc. Does it provide a richer/more full for a cold engine versus warm/hot engine??

I would be interested in some enlightenment on this matter for future reference.

Thanks in Advance

6000/2 = 3000

The LH/EZ temp sensor contains two sensors.

Measure each pin to the body of the sensor/engine.

In simple terms it tells the engine management system if the engine is hot or cold.
That is the correct part number. Cheap part that can give all sorts of issues. Treat it as a consumable and change it every five years.
