Really busy week in the shop, but I did manage to get everything torn down, cleaned, and ready for reassembly when the parts all arrive next week.
I'll post some pics when I can, but I've got the front crank seal replaced, oil pump resealed, air pump and hoses/valve removed, oil level sender resealed, power steering reservoir and hose to pump replaced, and lower idler pulley/bracket removed (because I'm installing a PKensioner).
I'll be replacing the cam gears and oil pump gear, the water pump (which only has 7k miles on it but is 9 years old and has a metal impeller-Laso) and installing a Gates racing belt. Also installing a new thermostat, upper and lower hoses, and eventually...a radiator (still undecided on Behr vs. aluminum aftermarket).
Of course I have the intake already off because of the rainwater situation, so it's getting new knock sensors, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, and fuel lines.
I'll also be replacing the shifter coupling bushings and getting that hooked up again. Roger helped me determine that my car was built with LSD (220) but unfortunately it is no longer present.![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I'm looking forward to getting this thing fired up soon...maybe by next weekend. I'm sure it will sound sweet, especially with the rear muffler bypass.

Make sure you replace the seal at the back of the thermostat and the O ring in front of it.
Also I would recommend going with a Behr radiator.
GL with getting her purring soon.

Thanks, yes, Roger is sending both t-stat seals. I am leaning towards the stock Behr radiator. Given the low amount of miles I will put on this car, and the fact that the Behr units have a very good record in terms of long life, I will likely never have to buy a radiator again for this car.

Er, yes, that's a good save. In the most literal sense of the word.
