Default Road Trip - Yellowstone, MT

just arrived in Great Falls, MT having survived Daphne misplacing her passport, heavy rain storm and aqua planing in Calgary, some chaos at the US border, a moose bounding across the highway, a State trooper warning that the GTS can haul so observe the 70mph limits but no ticket.

Were here until noonish tomorrow if anyone has any coffee time

Dang - missed you by 14 months! I would have driven right up.
Enjoy the Park. Remember, if you want to see the animals, get up and be out 1/2 hour before sunrise. By 10 am they are all done and lying in somewhere where you can't see them. Best viewing is from Roosevelt junction all the way through Lamar Valley and just past Soda Butte.
Hayden Valley is second best wildlife viewing area. Post pics!

thx Ed...........much appreciate the park input.

We made it to Livingstone this aft via Helena and Three Forks.......the weather is very very wet. Im really starting to doubt the wet weather usefulness of the Michelin Pilot Supersports........hydro planing over ever rivulet

Will post pics soon

After 2 days in Yellowstone Park we headed North to Bozeman then Helena and back to Great Falls where we'll spend the night. The roads are in fantastic shape after all the rains 4 days ago with the car running well except the clutch rattle (separate thread). Will post more pics soon
