Default Door Panel Clips

Had a problem with some of the white door panel clips at the aft section of the door base on the passenger side. The hole got a little 'threaded out' and the 'screw in' end wouldn't hold well. Very irritating when opening the door.
Went to Lowes and the GM Variable Depth Push Fastener worked like a charm. This fastener has a nice big flat head to do its job.
The particular part number is 08236 71591. It is found in the Automotive Fastener shelf.
I'm not sure because of the length if it will work for the shorter black door clips, but if length is not an issue it should.

thanks, I need a few (a lot) of those. I know Lowes has a lot of little parts bins, but never thought they would have what I needed.

You'd be surprised what you can use in those bins with a little creativity. Below is a pic of a screw cover I painted silver and applied over the screws for the center console panels. Acts like a washer, and is tidier than just the screw. I did a thread on my Center Console Refurbish.

On a similar note, I found almost exact replacement parts for the two black screws that go on the bottom edge at the center and rear of the the door panels - they even had small, black, curved washers which helped as the panel holes were getting enlarged. The replacements were sold as generic, "trim screws," in my local automotive store.
