Default steering howl turning left?

from the winter projects the pwr strg reservoir and both lines were replaced as was the fluid, ATF.

Now theres a howl from the pump only when steering wheel turned to left, no noise when strg wheel is centered or turned right.

appreciate any advice

Don't turn left.

Or check if the belt is tight, air in the system or rebuild the pump.

Malcolm,
There is a technical bulletin issued by Porsche on this problem, which is usually air trapped in the system.

You can find a copy in Alan Moorehouse's Technical CDs.

I would suggest you jack up the front of the car so that the wheels are clear of the ground and free to turn left and right and then then turn them from left to right a few time to clear the air out of the system. I would keep a check on the fluid in the reservoir for its level during and after the test.
