What did you do to get ready for SITM?
I know we are all frantically getting our cars ready for SITM. I thought it would be neat to see what everyone is doing and what some of the common items are.
I will start.
-new spark plugs and wires
-87 FPR
-Ken's chips
-chased vacuum leak in hvac and disabled vacuum line to comb flap (temporary)
-re-painted sunroof
-fixed loose centre console with jäger kit
-pulled after market alarm and all wiring
-pulled stealth 80's radar detector and all wiring
-installed TQ rings
-cleaned oil from intake plenum s
-changed oil and filter
-tightened up rad hoses
-released tension on flex plate and re-torqued clamp and p-klamp
-lined hatch with cache sound proofing
-cleaned fuel sender contacts
-had AC system vacuumed and filled with dye and r134
-clean, clean, clean and clean

Drifting
Changed oil and filled with valvoline VR-1.
Still trying to button the AC system up with all new O rings and a new compressor. Will install the new compressor tomorrow and pressure test, vacuum, fill up with R12.
Will also check tire pressure before I leave.

Damn Harvey...slow down!!!
I got her loaded up to go to the muffler shop....clutch is grabbing much better...must have just been rusty. Borrowed trailer is a bit narrow...I put a scratch on the fender...dammit!
I'll post the pic tonight....for some reason all my pics are suddenly too large, and I have to edit them down on the computer....
