Thanks for all the love, NOW SHE RUNS. I had the fuel injectors and rails cleaned, she started up. I went on a couple of rides with my 4 yr old daughter, and LOVED it...

Dude you got brass ones!! I wish I had the guts and know how to even try a car like that.It's all there, it runs, I bet it cleans up better than I think possible... These guys can help you do anything. Roger Tyson, Mark Andersen, and Carl Faucett have everything you'll need. Tim Murphy can do a stage III Vortech supercharger. Just replace the fuel lines. Looks terrible, feels great, true of some of the best things in life.

Monterey Park is close enough to the hub of OC 928 activity and 928INtl.com you will have plenty of support.

Looks like the previous owner spared no expense in keeping the car up, so absolute first thing I would suggest is to pull the intake manifold and replace all the rubber hoses. Replacing the high pressure, likely original rubber fuel injection hoses is ESSENTIAL for safety. Using a spray can and garden hose is a nightmare for future electrical issues, so most practical is to pull the intake to do the cleaning, and while its off do all the vacuum and breather hoses.

Good used interiors show up from time to time, but almost all have dash and pod cracks, and inexpensive doesn't describe much on a 928. I would start with cleaning and throw on a set of seat covers for the time being.

I see a generic auto shop in the pictures, unless they have a lot of experience with a 928 you need to find another place, or plan on paying for their education (paying a LOT). Greg Brown at Precision Autowerks in Anaheim is the best, Tim at Devitos in City of Orange is a better fit for some budgets. If your game to do your own work, many of do all we can ourselves and lots of help is available.

I don't see any smog history for 4UYL128, and I think records go back to about 1990, how long since it was last registered?

Under the leather dash is a standard 928 vinyl dash, so maybe pull off all the old leather, make sure to keep the pieces around the vents, and clean up the cracked vinyl for now.

Looks about like mine did when I started,didn't run,but my intierior was at least in a bit better shape than yours. Takes a lot of time and effort, but well worth it!! Welcome and enjoy her all you can.

The outside is about as bad as my car but man that interior is going to be a chore. But I'm told it's worth it! Still haven't heard mine run. Need to call roger to get some vacuum line as I cannot source metric locally it appears.
