Interesting Anders, I'll have to look into these.

Thanks,

Good Luck. Drive Safe (insofar as it's consistent with the goals of the mission.)

Loaded up, heading to Nevada with our very cool inclosed trailer. The stickers on the fenders say, not to exceed 55mph.

Here is one of my photos of the car on the trailer:

And one that shows the 55 limit sign, notice the letters are backwards, so you can read it everytime you look in the mirror:

We got Eureka Nevada and developed a major coolant leak in the Cayenne. We're waiting for a flat bed to take the Cayenne to Ely. Any one know anything about the Cayenne and coolant leaks? It isn't one of the radiator hoses, or the coolant tank. It seems to be passenger side, on the back side the engine.

Second sticky on the RL Cayenne board is a thread about faulty coolant pipes that run throuugh the engine vee. Wonder if that's your issue?

Never touched a Cayenne, slept at home last night.

Rob's right about the Cayenne coolant pipe issue. It's a pretty well-known problem. Hope that's not it in your case.

The Porsche dealers are certainly aware of it though. There may be a TSB about it as well (but not certain about that part).

Wishing you the very best in getting everything sorted out so you can enjoy the trip and get some good results with a really well-prepared car.

Hope it works out with minimal hassle. I'm looking forward to the narrative and videos. Best of luck.
