New product idea
I really do not like looking at the throttle assembly next to the intake on the 32 valve cars. I think it would be great to have a molded plastic cover to fit over the throttle mechanism. Mine is even worse without the original Intake tubes. Thoughts?

I was thinking of Jerry Feather. It would be real easy if not for the cable ball sticking up some. The center would need a little rise to it for clearance for the throttle operation. Other than than it would just be flat plastic with folded down edges to look nice. I might start looking at pick a part yards to see if I can find something that will work from a junk car.

Yes, I hear ya. That is a cool idea, one that I hadn't thought of.
Right now I am doing some WW Liners, working on the revision of the froms to make Cowl Covers for the down under guys with RHD cars, and I just did some preliminary work on a new project I have been thinking about--GTS Style Aero Mirrors that fit into the bottom front corner of the door windows instead on the door. Those I plan to make out of fiberglass rather than ABS as with most of my other stuff.
I'll put this new idea in the hopper and smoke it a while and see what comes of it.

He doesn't like looking at it so I would say that is a problem, at least for him. I suspect it is just about the same size of "problem" that I made the Windshield Trim Gap Filler Strips to "solve," and I have sold quite a few of those.

I do think the throttle/cruise assembly looks a bit of a mess. I now have a black power coated intake & cam covers and this bolted onto the intake side does looks a bit out of place with this color scheme.
I was actually thinking about something like this recently - an open bottomed cover with side/front closed and rear mostly open. I think I'd make it (or re-purpose something) out of aluminum though - gets real hot there and I don't want it drooping on the throttle assembly.
