Question Local Sharktuning ?

Hi guys, I am in need of some help. I live in Nashville with a recently boosted S4 Auto. Victor 25 and I installed his Stage 2 kit and tuned but soon after returning home found my car had a few weaknesses which needed attention. Now I need to make a few adjustments from the original tune. No one local has the program or the skill that I have found.

Anyone willing to help within say 200 miles or so of Nashville please shoot me a pm. I will happily come to you.

Thanks in Advance

Should be a simple map adjustment if anyone has a sharktuner in that area. If you don't have the correct diagnostic plug (87/88), I can send mine down. I would just send my sharktuner down, but I need it for Austria later this week.

Post Continued

That's a great link Sean I appreciate it, Rogers been good to me in the past with all my parts. I wish I had that kinda cash to lay out for the deposit. I am hopeful someone within say a couple hundred miles will chime in that I can hook up with. If all else fails I may give Roger a call. My tune is just a little bit out. But just enough to bother me...

Glad to hear that some of it was easily sorted, hadn't heard from you in a while so I figured you were up and running. Keep us updated on the progress.

Thumbs up Thanks Sean

Yes I've had her in the shop for a while Sean. Had to change out one fan that went bad, Brother James sent me an extra. It also took my FSCM with it. Making sure all the possible weak points were covered? Went ahead and did Plugs, wires, caps and rotors, Crank sensor. Had to take the Intake back off, Changed out the Injectors thinking possibly one was not acting properly. I've not been avoiding anyone, But just busy trying to bring the Beast up to bullet proof as possible for a long summer of 928 Stuff.

Now all I am in need of Is a quick adjustment in the lower RPM range and all should be good. Hopeful soon a kind local soul may help me out. Plenty of folks have read the post, I guess no one near enough to the Ville.

See you all soon. Thanks for checking in Sean

You should consider getting your own Sharktuner. You already have the PEM's, the Sharktuner minus PEM's is $790-- a small fraction of what you have invested. Fixing the current glitch would be simple (even without a WBO2), you get all sorts of real-time diagnostics, and you can be the guy that others want to find. That can be worth a lot of beer if you are lucky.

The other issue is that you do have Victor's stage-2 kit, which raises the stakes if something goes amiss-- MAF calibration, a wonky sensor, etc. Being able to keep an eye on things is good insurance.

Send me a PM or an email if I can help at all (jim-at-sharktuner-dot-net). And we'll also be at SITM, with our Sharktuner, we could have a look then.

Cheers, Jim

Thumbs up Great Offer Jim

I am indeed grateful for the message Jim. I was not aware one could be had for that very reasonable investment. If I had the extra cash it would be a no brainer today. I will remain hopeful that someone will offer a couple hours of there time around here for now. However I will take one at SITM so bring an extra.

Thanks
