Default SUPER SHARK

On my way to Hershey...just got started (2 miles) and ripped my steering pump pully off.... there are 6 bolts.....3 holes were good...3 holes and their surrounds were ripped out....I felt the sudden hard steering as I made a lane to lane power swig to go around a sloooow moving obstacle.....I didn't check until next morning 'cause I was going to have a good time ....I saw the ripped pulley resting ontop of the pump; picked it up and closed the hood (it's always something) the belt stayed in position all the way there and back without falling forward to disrupt the other belts...surprisingly lucky shark
I think the pump may be good/not siezed and the help I had to change out a groaning pump failed to tighten the 6 bolts adequately
Can someone GIVE me a pulley......ok, ok I'll pay...quickly...I've got the yearning to drive for medicinal purposes

you better go buy a lottery ticket,

In the future if you suddenly lose the PS assist shut the engine off ASAP,
and open the hood,
you could atleast have cut the belt off to avoid further damage.
( that luckily didnt happen this time),
usually a hose starts leaking and if its the Hi press hose,
then it will get on the exhaust manifold and make lots of smoke and sometimes fire

Mine has been off for 5 years. Its a pain if I don't plan ahead when parking but the car feel more connected to the road. Also keeps the wife away from driving it. Planning to fix it this spring.
