It's not polished - it's coated with silver ceramic coating. commonly referred to as Jett Hot, it is similar to powder coating but even more durable with insulating properties. Cost is the same as powder coating.

Polishing is not the way to go - unless you clear coat it to prevent the aluminum from oxidizing.

The Porsche crest is hand painted using Testors model paints and a steady hand.

The wires are standard Beru made to match the car and model year, available all over the interweb with some chromed standoffs available at any auto parts store.
