Default Touch up paint on carpet

I used carpet and fabric paint to touch up the carpet today. It worked very well to brighten up the carpet and make it actually black again so it blends in with the new Lloyd floor mats. I was'nt sure about going with flat black or gloss black. The flat worked great and made the carpet look near new again. I think it should also give a little protection as well to extend the life of the original carpet. Here are a few pics of the tool cover 2/3's painted and the hatch carpet 1/2 done.

I have used the SEM paint on the black rear carpet and tool carrier also. Went from a lightish grey to black as in your pictures. Also on a chocolate brown rear that was a tan color. Both came out great and well worth the time.

Default Good post

this is great and just the thing to give me a lilttle more life out of my carpet. How good of a match was the blue you used? I have the same interior. Should I get the same color?
