Nice! Lots more torque down low. Must be a pleasure to drive.

Questions:
Was this tuned/verified with a knock sensor?

What is the correction factor (for stock and chip)? SAE? DIN?

What is the rolling road to crank percentage assumption? 15%?

I saw this in person, and I approve.

When will they be available?
How much will they cost?
What modifications will I need to make?

I somewhat patiently await your reply

John
Was this spark + fuel maps....or fuel only......I am guessing its both....since the stock 5500rpm power at AFR 12.5 was 308 and jumped up to 326....but the AFR remained the same? I would guess a touch of spark added there?

Sorry I meant to post a link to my website page, but I don't seem to be able to edit my starter post.

http://www.jdsporsche.com/16v%20perf...%20EPROMS.html

Prices are EZ-F $127 USD : LH $ 45 USD

They are available now but I need to write a set of installation instructions...

1) Tuned on the dyno - safe :-)
2) This was on a rather old Sun Road a Matic whose calibration was optimistic..... so I first established a reference with a pair of stock LH and EZ-F ECUs. Then equated this back to the stock 310 flywheel HP.

Then fitted the tuned LH/EZ-F and further adjusted igntion for max torque.
3) This dyno is local to me and useful for comparaitive measurements.
A group of us are organising a trip to a Dyno Dynamics tuner to get a more absolute RWHP set of data. Again, I will compare stock ECUs with the modified ones. I'll post the results...

No modifications required, except to make sure your car is running as when it left the factory.... the only mod my car has is an RMB.

Yes, I need to modify my website. In Europe we use RON rating for fuel octane, in the USA you use MON.

For example V-Power or Optimax in this country is rated 98RON, in the USA that is about 90MON. So 93MON is fine, better than we can get here... !

I just figured maybe John had asked for a volunteer before unleashing his newest improvement on the forgotten stepchildren (you know the ROW crowd).

John,
How strange as we were just talking about this very thing at our swap meet/breakfast/GTG yesterday morning. I have a spare '85 LH with no chips and a spare EZF for the Stepson. I had thought it would be interesting to have new improved EPROMS to match the car which has MSDS headers and dual exhaust all the way back. Easy switch with extra LH and EZF
