Default Am I nuts

Very excited to get supercharger. Car is currently at my mechanics. Was told I should address a few oil leaks, decided to pull motor out and just check everything. Roger has direct access to my visa card now. New oil pan gasket, bearings, seals, steering pump, steering bushings and god knows what else before we even attack the supercharger. Very open to other ideas/info. while access is easy. Mechanic already did TB/WP PKtensioner, Pklamp. I was told that the supercharger was set up for 24lb injectors. Should I go with 30 instead? What advantages/disadvantages and where is the best place to purchase and how do I know I'm getting the correct ones...Thanks...sorry for all the questions

Why do you think you need 30lb injectors when the entire setup is for the stock 24lb units?

Look over all rubber bits and clamps. The SC will find the weakest point. Sounds like you are doing the smart thing and getting everything in order first. Supercharging is the way to go in these cars IMHO, and congrats.

The original FAST paperwork that came with the kit mentioned the 30# injector upgrade, I was just wondering. Also, is it necessary to have the gauges installed. Is it a "looks" thing or is it something that needs constant monitoring. Thanks

Air/Fuel is a good thing to watch. I am getting one of Victors setups soon. It goes in the ashtray. I have always thought the pillar guages look to ricey.

I think they are only needed to keep an eye on thongs every now and then. When you are gunning it, there is no time to look anywhere else but towards the road. I have thr boost and AF gauge installed in the ashtray and hardly look at them. I only use the boost gauge to see if the belt needs changing becauee it starting to slip and boost is down.
