Default Heated and unheated nozzles

Hi

My 84 Euro 928S just got repainted. And I was looking at the hood washer jets / nozzles and they seem very corroded.

My 928S comes with heated nozzles which seems to be $100 a pair - while unheated (-83) nozzles are $24. I will only be driving in the summer and got loads of other parts to spend $$$ on, so...

But are the two parts interchangeable? Would it be possible to use unheated (cheaper) nozzles on my ´84?

Thanks!

Lars

Nope different hole in the hood with the heated being a much larger hole shaped more like a keyhole. You can open up and shape the smaller hole to fit the bigger more expensive heated nozzles to use an early hood on a later car.

Get used - they are very reliable... California cars wont have corrosion...

Great - thanks guys. Its definitely the keyhole-shaped cut-outs I got.

I'll have a second look at my current nozzles - and if they are not worth the effort I will source some from the west-coast.

Thx!

Lars
