I dunno if we are trying to spend some time on the BRP on the way down to Banner Elk....had not heard from anyone about that....
If not, I would be interested in meeting up with the PA/OH crew somewhere along the way.....which route are you coming down on Friday....?

Last year, coming home, I went up the BRP some, got stuck doing 40 mph for too long behind touring bikes and then jumped off to a pretty long but winding road that led me to Wytheville VA @ I-81....lot of it was 2 lane and winding and it seemed to have alot of character.
I was thinking of meeting up in New Market, VA or something and then get off at Wytheville to then go on down that route and maybe even jump onto the BRP towards the bottom end of the run around Grandfather Mtn and some of those cool tunnels toward the bottom....

Made my reservation today, no problems. Greg Schickle and I will probably be leaving Fri. morning if any one wants to get together for caravan from central KY area. Anxious to try out my new Porken chips on a road trip, so far they are fantastic!
