My 10 year old came down from his room wearing his last two badges from SITM 2011/2012. We topped up the PSD, installed Nicole/Jager's clear side markers, changed the oil, tightened a couple of PS fittings and resolved that I only have two more things to get ready....
New Windshield on Tuesday
Thorough Cleaning on Wednesday/Thursday night
I still have a host of things to do to the car (don't we all). Need new oil lines for my oil cooler as they are weeping, need to chase minor PS leak, need to fix AC system leaks (good enough to top up with R134A every couple of weeks when I need AC @ $8 can from Big Lots), etc...
My car gets better every SITM and I'm excited to be there even if we'll only just get there from Florida at either 3AM Saturday morning if we drive straight through or 10AM Saturday morning

I believe I originally proposed the Wingnut Award for Sharks in the Mountains after Tarek ran his convertible 928 into a big oak tree on the Parkway.
