26 at least-I was there towards the end and not in the pic. I live in Winston-Salem so I drove up after work. Gunar

Contrary to my call name, my vision isn't a strength but I believe there roughly 30 sharks in this photo with 6 or 8 vacancies.

As the saying goes... size doesn't matter. I think if one measured success in the amount of passion, interactions and smiles it would be too much to count.

That why I already have a room booked for next year!

I counted around 40 or 42 at one point ... there were several cars in and out over the 3 hours we were there.

Oh, and I almost forgot this one... I wouldn't ask questions:

You can see the love in the photos, but it's much better experienced live in person.

Cheers!
Good times!

Here are the pics I took. I really should have taken many more, but I was having way too much fun. Despite the apparent lack of attendees, the quality of those who did attend was VERY high.

This gets my vote as coolest car this year! TOTALLY AWESOME!

Got back last night around 10:30 or so. 1100+ miles on the GTS4 with limited issues, none of which mechanical, so it was a successful maiden voyage.

It was a great year. The weather was perfect, beverages plentiful, and always great company. Reserved the room for next year when I checked out.

Thanks to Dave and Jeannie for hosting the event, to AO for supplying a much needed wideband, and Jim for introducing me to luxury of Sharkplotting (it is so much easier than staring at the map screens in ST).

Hope to see some of you in Hell if not before

Default Home Stretch

After I went into the second set of heavy thunderstorms...
the alternator could not keep up and it just lost power accumulation...wipers, lights, defrost.....

Barely made it off I-66 to a McD's/ BP...called my regular tow guy...
2 hours later, we are sliding Ole Blue into my garage....no worries.....
almost 800 flawess miles including 100 amazing miles on the BRP......I made it within 35 miles from home.........
I am really thankful.....
really coulda been a lot worse....

Met a real COOL tow guy , Abe, from Lebanon...
totally into BMW E30's...loved my car....the ride back was actually a blast.....

Thanks again to everyone this weekend......went by so fast......

Another big shout out to Dave and Jeanie. I thoroughly enjoyed my first SITM. Thanks a bunch.

I posted pics to flicker, I shot several hundred and narrowed down to about 50 shots, way to time consuming to post here.

Here is the link.

Oh and a special thanks to AO for coming up with that fantastic Alcoa route, too bad you couldn't run it with us. That was one of the greatest drives of my life. Jim and Sue did an excellent job leading, thanks guys.

It was great seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones.

Peace out.

My first SITM but by know means my last. As the saying goes...

Beautiful cars but "Exceptional People" My sincere thanks go to Dave and Jeannie for all the hard work.

Fantastic meeting so many people I had only read about in this forum. Finally was able to put face's with name's... I truly enjoyed the Alcoa run on Friday with everyone. Thanks
