Jeff, et al,
Wow - the pictures and comments certainly look like this was a nice event. Hope it can continue into the future and attract even more 928 owners from around the middle parts of this great country (and those from outside the borders as well). Well done Jeff,
Gary Knox

Jeff - what a wonderful event and apart from my $228 chat with the local State Trooper I had a total blast.
Friday afternoon was really special as Jeff took us for a flight over the three States and hosted us at his home with great BBQ and good wine.
The shooting club was very very special - cash bar from 9.00am - massive Pork chops and rib eyes. Trap shooting was my favorite as I had not done it in over 20 years since I was in the UK.
The drive was short but really good fun as you can see from the many pictures. The 911 was a real head turner.
It was nice spending time with a good, like minded, bunch of 928 nuts.
This is one 928 GTG you do NOT want to miss and Jim and I will be back for certain next year. Remind me to drop below 90mph prior to Dubuque.
Next time lets have enough shooters to do the Sporting setup.
Thanks Jeff!!

I learned a great deal about putting on an event. I plan to reach out to other event holders next year to be more organized and plan the food better.
All-in-all I probably only came up $200 short on the whole thing. Not so bad considering.
Next year I'll :
1) get a solid headcount of who is coming
2) have online registration
3) get a solid t-shirt count so I don't go over/under
4) have the bartender there from 1-6 instead of all day ($20/hour adds up!)
5) have the trap boy's tip jar more prominently displayed so people know he's paid on tips alone
6) organize or have another local 928 guy (that's you Ben) organize the drive so it's longer.
7) Make sure everyone fuels up before the drives
8) Have a shop available on Saturday for the Tech session (friend has volunteered his shop).

You did great Jeff, it was such a nice event and when the word gets out I think you can make up the $200 bucks next year. That's how those things work sometimes. Anything you need help for on next year's event please let us know.
