Thank you for the warm welcomes. I'll get more pics of the interior soon. I assure you, it's not all that. Blue in color and having a hard time finding this and that. The car needs a few things. Outer tie rod and both ball joints are in disrepair. That is project #1. Rear CV axle on driver's side is needing to be replaced. And of course the day I bought the car, the driver's door handle broke. The windows rattle, the seat wont move and 1 window switch and the sunroof switch needs replaced. The wheels were sanded by PO. All in time.

I think Mike Hayes (Ammonman) is near you in NW Arkansas. Good 928er. He is one of the "I can fix anything mechanical" type of guys.....good stand up guy to boot.....

Yes, I know of Mike. His wife and I are Facebook friends. I'm hoping to catch a free weekend with them and go over the car a bit.

Welcome. Don't worry if your car "isn't all that." These guys love rescue stories.

If you are having hard time finding "This and That", try the "big 4" vendors. They are listed in the "Read This First" sticky at the top of the forum. I've only been here a short while, and have had very positive experiences with 928s R Us and 928 Motorsports. I haven't dealt with the other 2 yet, but will soon.
If you search around a bit, you can find just about anything you need to know. I dug up threads on the seats and how to clean the sunroof and window switches (my car needed that). You may not need to replace them, they can be gone through and rehabbed. There was a recent discussion on door handles (both inside and outside).
The info in here is AWESOME!!!
Very clear and easy to follow.

I was running late to work this morning, let the car warm up for just a minute. 1/2 way down the road my idle tensioner light came on. If my memory recalls, this is a bad thing.

Yep. Best to stop, and don't drive it until you can check the tension. But at least, a whole bunch of these guys can tell you how to proceed!
