I love the no sunroof, no rubstrip combo for the slickest look. I voted "nay" but I don't let that make or break a purchase for me. They look better without them, in my opinion, but only marginally.

To my eye - "IT DEPENDS"!! - and that was not a voting option.

I like them on most of the pre GTS cars, as I think it draws the eye towards the ends of the car and accentuates the length and minimizes the height.
On the GTS cars, I perfer the 'Nein" answer. That little stubby piece behind the doors when they have rub strips distracts from the effect noted above.

as someone who hopes to paint his car this year, i love the way it looks without, but man am i nervous about ppl flinging their doors into my car with a beautiful new paint job and no protection..

If I could wave a magic wand I likely would delete them. Not a big deal though, it looks good with them too.
