20+ pages of ridiculousness last week. It has since been put where it belongs.

Completely false accusation of one of the more respected vendors.

But it got Snoz a new nickname, so it wasn't all bad.

If you were refering to Me I was complimenting Roger for being a great supplier of parts. Top notch..Sorry if it sounded otherwise

No, it didn't sound like you were saying anything negative about Roger.
My experience with him was awesome. Long story short, he knows these cars well enough to know all the parts I needed, even when I didn't.
I will be sending him plenty of money in the future, I am sure.

I was joking. And referring to a train wreck of a thread from last week.

My 2nd Chinese valve gave up the ghost and started gushing after several weeks. My shop managed to get the German one through Worldpak today and it's all better. Maybe 3 times is the charm for this part? Shame the good parts went off line for a while, the last time my shop couldn't get one at all, and today they got it in one morning.

Thanks to the quick "failure" responses from the 928 community on the Chinese made valves we were able to work closely with WorldPac's product manager and remove all the Meyle made in the PR of China from the warehouse. Shops that order from WorldPac will now receive a German made valve – still made by Meyle but the quality is better.

Yet another good example of feedback from you the owner and diligence from us as the seller allows quick changes to the market/product being supplied through the manufactures/wholesalers.

If you want to be sure that what you have is German made look at the valve

1) If it says “Made in Germany” then it is good.
2) If it says “Meyle Germany” then it was made in the PR of China and needs sending back.

I'm actually in the process to changing my heater valve, I bought it from 928 international, and I was reading this thread and saw the issue where the ones with china made where having, I'm not so sure if I should still swap it out now:/

You need to talk to Mark or Tom to find out which one they sent you. As we all buy from the same wholesalers it is worth checking. Did you look at what it says on the valve itself??

Nice avitar - Red = Herman's 94 GTS, Silver = Jim Mayzurk's 93 GTS & Black = my 93 GTS

I plan to use the NAPA manual shutoff, my new vacuum valve does not shut off completely.
Could someone just post the NAPA part number? I tried both links and they don't work for me.

Yes the 928, 968 and all late style 944 (with new styles cockpit) share the same heater valve.

I think the heater valve in my 81 is original....odd, considering it still works just fine. Gotta love German quality.

Thank you. Does anyone have a picture of the 928sRus valve?

Also, has anyone had any luck with the valve that can be purchased at the Porsche dealership? Are they crap as well?
