Default Blower Motor Removal without hood removal

I'm planning on removing my Blower Motor (appears seized) for further evaluation.

I have read that removing the front wiper valence/cowl trim is sufficient for clearance for removal.

I have the wipers off and cowl loose in the middle. PET seems to show only the two screws holding it yet the ends under the windshield vertical trim seem to be mounted over a locating pin? or loosely screwed in...? Anyone have more details on this. Is removal of the side windshield trim required? How does this come off? glued? push fit?

These parts are not very robust - don't want to risk warping/scratching these.

Thanks Alan

Alan IIRC there is a small screw at each end of the wiper valance just behind the windshield "Black" trim, I always remove the hood too for better access.

Two small screws at the ends, and two color-matched bolts at near the fender bolts

OK - thanks guys - so how does the side windshield trim come off? is it embedded in the window caulk or just a push fit ...

Push fit (at least on the early cars). I use plastic panel removal tools.

Thanks - all worked out OK corner screws were in pretty loose - Now to diagnose the blower failure.
