Question Driving Light won't light.

88 928 S4. Left driving light quit lighting. Replaced bulb, still doesn't light. Check fuse panel. Card indicates one fuse for both left and right driving light. Fuse is okay.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks.

Did you clean the socket contacts and the brown wire ground associated with that light?
I'd start there. Is this a USA car?

I would suggest you jump the relay and see it they light up, this would rule out the circuit/wiring as you say the fuses and bulbs are good.

check the wire harness under that headlight pivot this is where the wires come out and they flex and if the wires are crimped too tightly then they will shear,
You need to remove the block off plate and fender liner and wheel to do this inspection also check the wire connectors behind the bumper possibly one has come loose
