Thanks for the update, Eric. Obviously, they are not providing this information on their website. I will call soon and see if I can get more current availability, etc.

Update: TireRack does not have any street tires listed for the rear size (245-45/16), so I called to confirm.
TireRack: "The RE-11 has been discontinued and is no longer available. Firestone wants to 'tweak' the tread design and release a Vs. 2 of the RE-11."
No ETA on Vs. 2 of this tire, but you may guess that it will be next year.

Good, I'll prolly need a new set of RE-11s then. I would hate to have to get rid of my Clubsports cause I can't find a tire. I am glad someone is going to keep producing them.

Tire rack is posting the RE-11's as a new tire on their website. I wonder if it is the new design is the Rev 2 that Kshipp referenced:

Yes it's on there web site but...
Estimated Availability: Back Order!!!
Will move to 18" on my next set of tire. Next Spring probably.
Sick and tired of waiting for a tire size that will never come (back)!

What about 245-50-16 in front? or 255-50-16? Will they not clear? I just picked up some stock 16 inch phone dials, two of which have 255-50-16's mounted. They've certainly "got their swole on". I had never thought of mounting up such large tires but they fit on the wheels.
I already have oversized tires on the never-offroaded SUV, this could complete the mall-crawler, mullet ricer look I've been craving.

I got desperate and actually called a local tire shop and they were able to find the Toyo T1R in the 245/45/16. It's a summer tire and is a W-rated tire. The price is around $160/tire, which isn't bad. It's THE only tire I could find in this size, as a street tire. Given, it's a summer tire, here in Arkansas our winters are extremely limited and short. Hopefully this tire will be fine until I can get the RE-11 v2 or maybe I could win the lottery and get the tires/wheels I really want.
