16 V Cam seals
Ok, I am redoing the cam seals, it looks like I missed the small seal on the back of the distributor housing. Anyway. I ordered the new seals and noticed that they are sending both of the large O-rings. I think the measurements are 5x50 and 5x54 which one should I use on the left side. The manual is not clear in this instance and I am not convinced that the correct seal is on there now.I am so looking forward to having a leak free car.

Depends on the engine number and year of your car - really useful to add this to your signature at least the year.
52 x 4 was used on the early cars 77 to 79 through certain specific engine numbers.
Thicker one 50 x 5 from late 79 onwards. Remember this could change if work was done on the cams and parts renewed on earlier cars,
