Doing TB/WP on 87S4. Added porkers ironed. Added crank bolt as directions indicate w/o PS & AC pulley. Didn't take it off. Put TB covers, fan shroud etc in place. Need to remove bolt to install other pulleys. Engine will turn ccw. Even with flywheel locking tool. Please tell me I don't have to take everything back off

Then rotate the engine around two more revolutions and check your alignment indicators again. Timing SHOULD be unchanged. Refit the lock tool and then remove the crank bolt. After you reassemble everything, recheck your timing.

Hold the bus........the engine should not be turned counter clockwise under any circumstance.
Only turn clockwise for all positioning.
The flywheel locking tool should be installed with the bolts that hold the clutch slave in place....if an auto tranny then use longer bolts than what is with the cover plate.

I know it should not be turned ccw. It only turned a little. The locking tool didn't grab while trying to take the crank bolt off. Did I do any damage? Did I throw the timing off? The TB was in place and correctly tensioned.
