"dizzy going around the car" ..LOL.

Will this work on chrome wheels? I have set that looks pretty bad, so if this works over chrome it would be perfect!

Whats the actual name of the product you bought at lowes?

Thanks

Plasti Dip is the name of the stuff. It's about $6-7 a can. They may not have many colors in local stores so you might look at the dipyourcar.com site and see the colors they have.

the name is "PLASTI DIP" by performix. It will work on any surface just as well, it is very tacky and will coat anything. There are tons of DIY videos on youtube. and the best part is, once it has cured you can peel it off. available at lowes, home depot and online.

Was thinking seriously of using the dipyourcar stuff to do a temporary bra like I did with the duplicolor stuff. The dipyourcar guy says he has thousands of customers using it for spray on temporary bra.

I don't see why you couldn't. I bet it would work really well. They have flat and gloss type you could use. I may do it to my car if I like how it performs on the bike.

Just make sure you use 4 coats so it can be easy to remove when you don't want the look anymore

Another big tip for you guys. Keep the can in hot water in between coats. As you spray the can gets colder...just like a can of compressed air. This cause the paint to thicken up and texturize. Keeping the can in hot water keeps the paint nice and smooth make sure you prep correctly. Here are my pics.
