I can always use the double nut method to install studs, but i think doing this isn't good for the threads. Anyone have any recommendations? I know that Snap-On and Mac tools makes a stud installer collet kit, it's real expensive though. What studs are you installing?

Installers only. 6 x 1.0, 8 x 1.25, 10 x 1.5, and 12 x 1.75.

1/2" drive (Very German....they use 1/2 drive for almost everything), so a bit "large", but they work very well.

Snap-on used to make a set of installers that worked exactly like these (internal ball bearing to allow the "stud" to release without backing out), but they did not make them for very long. I tried for years to find one of those sets and finally gave up and use these.

Also wanted to ask an unrelated question, why does 928 Specialists only let you enter a city that's 10 characters or under when getting shipping rates??
