Will the CV end caps work on both ends of the axle on an OB?

The end caps are available from the usual sources for not much money. I think I paid about $7 each for them from Roger recently. And yes, I put them on an '84 with no problems in place of the usual gasket

roger sells the a boot KIT that comes with the boot, cap, snap ring, grease, and clamps. the later axles dont need the cap on the end with the splines. just reboot the old style axles, and tap the caps on. bolt on.. DONE. no dumb little gaskets...
